Real-Life Walk Coaching
Do your dog’s walks sometimes feel stressful, unpredictable or difficult to manage?
Perhaps your dog pulls, becomes overexcited, reacts to other dogs or struggles to settle and enjoy the experience. You may also feel unsure about what your dog needs or how best to respond when something goes wrong.
During this 90-minute, one-to-one session, you will join me on Waseley Hill Country Park and we will take a walk. This allows me to see what is happening in a real-life environment and offer practical, relevant guidance as we go.
The session includes up to a one-hour walk followed by an additional 30-minute review. Together, we will discuss how you are currently managing your dog, explore the reasons behind any difficulties and identify changes that could make your walks calmer and more enjoyable.
You will receive practical guidance to help you such as:
- Understand your dog’s behaviour and body language.
- Recognise signs of stress, concern or overexcitement.
- Improve your lead handling and communication.
- Manage distractions and challenging situations.
- Build your dog’s confidence and ability to cope.
- Create walks that both you and your dog can enjoy.
